How to be patient??

Some tips to share on how to be Patient. Im applying to myself too! :)
Remind yourself that things take time.
People who are impatient are people who insist on getting things done now and don't like to waste time. However, some things just can't be rushed.

·  Think about your happiest memories. Chances are, they were instances when your patience paid off, like when you worked steadily toward a goal that wasn't immediately gratifying, or took a little extra time to spend leisurely with a loved one. Would you have those memories if you had been impatient? Probably not.

·  Almost anything really good in life takes time and dedication, and if you're impatient, you're more likely to give up on relationships, goals, and other things that are important to you. Good things may not always come to those who wait, but most good things that do come don't happen right away.

Remember what matters.
Not focusing on what matters most in this life fuels impatience. Move the world toward peace by being kind, generous in forgiveness of others, being grateful for what is, and taking full advantage of what matters most. When other less important things fuel our impatience, taking time to remember any one of these items reduces our tendency to want something different right now.

Always remember that you will eventually get what you want.
(This requires maturity and patience to understand and accept!) If you work hard at something, this may be the truth, but most of the time you have to be patient to get what you want.

·  For others, this may come as easy, but the only thing that matters is that you know how to occupy yourself, even in the dead of times.

·  Just remember, patience is a mental skill that you will never forget, so cherish patience as a major step for you in life. Impatience is something not to be proud of, but something that you should attempt to train yourself out of, before it is something that overthrows your life.

Always have a positive outlook in life.
Being always positive is very imperative as possessing a sense of patience. Remember that life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Expect the unexpected.
Yes, you have plans, but things don't always work out as planned. Accept the twist and turns in life gracefully. Keep your expectations realistic. This applies not only to circumstances, but also the behavior of those around you.

If you find yourself blowing up over your child or your spouse accidentally spilling a drink, you're not in touch with the fact that people aren't perfect. Even if the occasion is not an isolated incident but is instead caused by their repeated neglect and carelessness, losing your patience isn't going to make it any better. That's something to be addressed with discussion and self-control.

Give yourself a break.
The meaning of this is twofold. First, take a few minutes to do absolutely nothing. Just sit quietly and think. Don't watch television; don't even read. Do nothing. It may be hard at first, and you may even feel impatient after a minute or two, but by taking some time out you can essentially slow your world down, and that's important to develop the attitude necessary to develop patience.

Second, stop holding yourself and the world around you to unattainable standards. Sure, we'd all be more patient if babies didn't cry, dishes didn't break, computers didn't crash, and people didn't make mistakes - but that's never going to happen. Expecting the world to run smoothly is like beating your head against the wall. Give yourself a break!

REMEMBER!!!!

· Remember, for every minute you are angry you lose 60 seconds of happiness.

· Developing patience is not easy, and you've got to be motivated to become more patient. You can do it, however, and you should. Patience can reduce your stress levels and improve your health and longevity, and patience can actually make you happier. Whenever you find yourself growing impatient, think about the positive effects of patience, and remember that impatience only makes things worse.

· Instead of becoming annoyed by a distraction (such as a crying baby on a long flight), try just being a passive observer. If you make it daily practice to observe things and events without judging or forming an opinion, being able to acknowledge something without allowing it to annoy you will become easier with time.

·  Boredom can make it difficult to be patient. If you're waiting in the doctor's office and the only thing you can concentrate on is the ticking clock, good luck trying to be patient. If, however, you can read a book or do a crossword puzzle, time will fly by (or at least creep less slowly). If you've nothing to do while you're waiting, just try to appreciate the fact that you have nothing to do. In a fast-paced world, opportunities to do nothing are rare and should be cherished for their time to be un~bothered by minor things.

·  Being patient with others is a form of respect for them. Nobody is perfect, and if you want to be a good parent, boss, spouse, or friend, it's important to recognize this and to be patient with people. "Don't sweat the small stuff" is a good motto. You and everyone around you will be more relaxed and able to get along much better.

·  One way to release stress is to write about it. Studies have shown that people who write about their emotions tend to become more calm and learn to accept the emotions that they are experiencing. so, the next time you feel angry, just write about it and try to meditate over why you would be so angry.

·  A quote from James Clavell's novel, Shogun: “Karma is the beginning of knowledge. Next is patience. Patience is very important. The strong are the patient ones. Patience means holding back your inclination to the seven emotions: Hate, adoration, joy, anxiety, anger, grief, fear. If you don’t give way to the seven, you’re patient, then you’ll soon understand all manner of things and be in harmony with eternity.”

·  Once you are able to change your attitude so that you are a patient person, you will find that patience can help you endure any tribulation, no matter how long-lasting or difficult. More importantly, perhaps, patience can help you achieve your goals.

·  Many people find that meditation and yoga helps patience.

·  Be present and focused on the task at hand. You may think you have many things to do today, but you have only one thing to do, what is in front of you. A sense of completion after finishing that task will reduce anxiety and promote a sense of accomplishment.

MORE TIPS

  • Patience should be no excuse for procrastination. While patience can help you be okay with doing nothing, it's important to understand that idleness breeds impatience and stress.
  • Be patient with others who display little patience. If you seemed to feel bothered too much by them, make an excuse to locate yourself somewhere else and take a break from their anxiety-inducing behavior.

Camwhore-ing

Most of the girls love to take picture, especially self-capture their own picture. So do i. With the existence of camera-camera canggih ni, it makes the camwhore-ing activities being more "critical". Why i said it is "critical"? Like me, i "PANTANG" nampak camera. I cant even see anyone holding a camera, i will surely and immediately make a pose. (Poyo je tu)
I'll capture or self-capture my own face wherever i go. But actually its good u know. U can actually improve the way u smile, u look at yourself, u can see how yourself look like in photos and whatnot. Even in the moving car, i can and i MANAGE to capture my own pic. *vain giler minah ni*
Haihhhhh... Parah dah ni.. I dont know until when this attitude of mine will last. Sampai tua la agaknnya but dont you think its kind of cool, later when i got cucu and cicit, they will said, "cool gile nenek aku yang sibuk2 nk self-captured dgn the cucu cicit dorang. hahaha...

So lets try it out!!! It FUN!!! :)

BreakFAST!!!

For those who still dont know me, im a breakfast person. i CANT. i CANNOT start a day in mylife without my breakfast. Penting sgt kot!!! For me, mmg PENTING woooo.. if not, lembik je badan. Sekali bila check2 balik, memang kalau ikut kajian, its proven that breakfast is the MOST IMPORTANT meal that we must have to take every single day.

Bak kata Wikipedia..

Breakfast (literally meaning to break the fasting period of the prior night; in Old English the term was morgenmete meaning "morning meal") is the first meal taken after rising from a night's sleep, most often eaten in the early morning before undertaking the day's work. Among English speakers, "breakfast" can be used to refer to this meal, or more commonly, to refer to a meal composed of traditional breakfast foods (such as eggs, oatmeal and sausage) served at any time of day.

Some people would love to have nasi lemak or roti canai for their breakfast. But for me, i love taking cereal with fresh milk. Tak kisah la what type of cereal, janji cereal. If pegi outstation mana2 pon, i prefer to have cereal. Kalau takde, i'll replace it with maybe bread. If takde choice jugak, i dont mind having roti canai or nasi lemak once in a while =)

My favourite cereal is Honey Bunches with Oats and now currently im having K for Kellogs =) Lets join me to practice a healthy breakfast!

Zumba Mumba

After been recovered from the illness, I'm ready to do my zumba again! Previously i was very active with zumba. Attended zumba competition representing my company and we got 3rd place!!! hoyeyy hoyeyy! Basically i just wanna have some fun and i find zumba is an easier way and a faster way to lose weight. For me, zumba is the best way for fat burning.

What is zumba actually??

From the Wikipedia:

Zumba Fitness or the Zumba Program is a Colombian dance fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s.

Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included. Zumba Fitness, an organization that sells Zumba videos and products, does not charge licensing fees to gyms or fitness centers. Approximately 14 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 150 countries.

Celebrity trend

Part of the Zumba programs' popularity can be explained by its adoption by celebrities all over the world. Jennifer Lopez and Kirstie Alley are known to take Zumba classes as part of their workout routines, while Jackie Chan has been caught on video while performing the exercises. Other celebrity fans of Zumba include Eva LaRue, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham, Halle Berry, Toni Braxton, Nicky Hilton and Wyclef Jean.

Moral of the story, i'll keep doing zumba for fitness, fat burning, to get a fit body like the celebrities above. chewahhhh!!! *ko perasan ko JLo ke nadia oiii* hahahaha

Untuk Bahagia

#self reminder

In this modern world, high cost of living, extraordinary lifestyle, we tend to believe that 'money is everything'. Are you sure? Are you sure money can buy u EVERYTHING??? including health and happiness? because i dont think so!

We can see some rich people, they have all the luxury things, millions of cash but apa guna semua tu if they suffer from incurable decease such as cancer, heart attack and whatnot. The money that they have COULD NOT buy them another 'life' for a living. The rich people would not appreciate what they have materially because for them, "i can buy those things anytime that i want. i have all the money......" (nampak tak? ayat orang kaya di situ?)

But for those who are unfortunate in terms of financial condition, they still can improve their life by trying their best to earn money in every way that they can, yes they still can be happy. They understand the meaning of life better. They will appreciate what they have more than anyone else.

What i can say here is,
untuk indah, tak harus mewah =)
fikir-fikirkanlah....

Scary Fever

On last Friday, 1.30am, i felt a weird feeling of being TOO cold until i was shivering very badly. I really thought that i'm having seizures because on my experience, i had 3 times of seizures when i was admitted in the hospital for the past 4 months. But this time, memang scary gile. Menggiggil satu badan, muka turned blue black, pucat giler. What i did was, wake my mom up, and to see me like this is just making her worry and panic. As usual. Mothersss... Of course akan panic whenever their children fall sick and whatnot.

She drove direct to the emergency at Gleneagles and luckily Sheila's bf, Dr. Dev was there. He attended to me and terus buat line and cucuk this medicine (like a bius) that made me sleep with immediate effect. Maybe thats the only way for me to get rid of that bad shiver thingie.
This is my 1000th times did this

The doctor asked me to do some tests using my urine and YES i got an infection. He asked me whether i want to be admitted or not. OF COURSE i wanna GO BACK! Penat dah kot dok hospital selama ni. Entry for my 4 months of admission will be update later. Panjang sgt ceritanya =)

At 5.30am, i went back with few medicines and one day MC. Blerghhhh~
The medicine : Antibiotic, Painkiller, Paracetamol, etc

A total sadness :(

A total sadness is when you've been rejected by the person whom you loved the most

but

the rejection will make you become wiser, and stronger to face 'tomorrow'

You will feel damn :

sad
down
cheerless
disconsolate
down in dumps
gloomy
heartbroken
hurt
pessimistic
sorrowful

but

what you can do is just pray and pray and pray.......

Evolution of BNM Annual Dinner

#throwback  in 2009 until 2011

I have attended Bank Negara's annual dinner for the past few years. From 2009 until 2011. For 2009 the dinner was held at KL Convention Centre, 2010 at Nikko Hotel, and for 2011 at Sunway Resort Hotel. Unfortunately in 2012, BNM decided not to have the annual dinner due to some reasons. Not to mentioned, we as the staff also didn't have any idea why there's no annual dinner for that year :(

By the way, for all dinners, the Bank has invited few top singers (based on survey made among the staff la). Cool riteeee... =) We had Dayang Nurfaizah, Amy Mastura, Faizal Tahir and Anuar Zain. What? Anuar Zain?????? Yessss!!!!!! *im meltinggggg* I love him! Ooopsss...I like him.. I adore his voice ;)

Here are some of the dresses that i wore during the annual dinner. Simple je tapi mcm ntah hape2 je ;p Bila tengok balik, macam kelakar giler.. Aku ke yg pakai macam ni? Aketuihhhh!

Ups and Downs

Life is like a wheel. Sometimes we are up sometimes we are down. But no matter how many times we have to be ups and downs, there are lessons to be learned.

When we are tested with tons of problems, we tend to argue and question "why me?" "why this thing happen to me, not to others?" why? why? why? We started to blame others, we started to point out the reasons of the problem. But we always forget, EVERYTIME we are being tested, its actually God's way to remind us that He is there. He can help. All we have to do is keep praying. Wish that we could find ways to solve them.

The more tests we are dealing with, the wiser we became. The tougher the test, the stronger we are.

Yes, we are allowed to cry out loud. Sometimes its a way to release the stress or when you come to a point where we have no where to go, no one to talk to, we may cry. But remember, once we have cried all night long, we will wake up the next day and ready to face a brand new day with more strengths in our soul.

On the other hand,

When we are given the happiness of life, we are given a good job with good pay, we are surrounded with cool friends, great people, best companions, good health, we are tend to forget our God, the One who gives us all the great and awesome gifts that we cherish throughout our life.

I can say that the ups and downs in our life is actually the signals from God and be a head up to us to remember Him whenever we are about to forget Him and to thank and praise Him for all the gifts he gave to us.

Everything happens for a reason

My Chum Cin Fixa's Got Engaged!

#throwback in 2011

My chum cin, Fixa got engaged!! (chum means good friend, we got that 'cin' from the word cin-ta). The theme is blue. So everybody who is close to her has to wear  blue (wajib ok) :) Anyway, I'm so happy for her. She looks beautiful in her engagement dress. The make up, the hand bouquet, everything really suits her well.

Three BEST chums, Fixa & Nisa (we called us as CIN)

The girls
And and and, during her engagement, I was asked to make a Candy Buffet that match the color theme of the day. As usual, I love to do it and it's like my passion to help in events like this.

Captivating High Heels

Girls always synonym with shoes lover but what type of shoes? Sport shoes? Wedges? Flats? Macam2 ade. But me, i LOVEEEEEE high heels. I just adore them. Lagi tinggi lagi best!!!! Not to deny, sometimes mmg sakit kaki especially if jalan jauh2.. but, what people always say, BIAR TERSEKSA JANJI BERGAYA.. chewahhh!!! So i think i will continue to wear high heels for forever and ever and ever but, i will always spare a sandle or flats in my car. In case, kaki dah melecet or serious *&^$ tak larat, tukar saje laaaa. Hashtag redha jela...

One weird thing about me, i have my own preferences for high heels. It must be 4-5 inches. If not, might as well i wear flats terus. And i love those if ade studs/diamonds. The shape must be like in this photos. How about you? Any specific preference?

I'm sure for girls out there who love shoes, will surely make high heels as one of their collection. With lots of design, colors, fuhhh! Tak ingat dunia.

In my office, I have the least of 10 pairs under my desk, dlm kereta pon ada at least 10 pasang (Gila kan??!!!). At home tak payah cerita la. I think I can open up a kedai kasut if lets say dah tak space nak simpan kasut-kasut semua tu.
